Forum Rules

GSU Nation welcomes all visitors who abide by the following forum rules:

1. You are required to know the rules of the forum - ignorance of the rules will not be a defense.

2. No Offensive Language or Materials. Please do not post any messages, images or links that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, racist, sexist, discriminatory or otherwise violate any local or international laws. This includes links in your signature, profile, bookmarks as well as posted images, photos and avatars.
3. No Personal Attacks. Do not harass, belittle, threaten or “flame” another member. Do not call other members names, even in jest. You may dispute opinions and facts, but do so with facts and not by taking it to a personal level. This forum is intended to operate in a positive environment. Please help us achieve that goal.
4. No Advertising or Website Promotion. Please do not post any messages anywhere on this site that are primarily for the promotion or advertising of any website, item for sale (other than in the 'Stuff For Sale' section as per its rules), forum, email address, business, multi-level marketing activity or other entity without prior approval from GSU Nation. If posting an article, you are allowed to post an excerpt with the original link, not just the link itself.
5. No Spamming. You will not mass-email multiple members of this site the same message.
6. No Duplicate Posting. Please do not double post or cross-post your message or question to more than one forum. If a post needs to be moved alert the site administrator. You will not post for the sake of increasing your post count or hack count.
7. No Trolling or Baiting. You will not post any topic that disrupts the peace and harmony of this forum. Please do not create meaningless threads with the sole purpose of starting a dispute. This includes messages in profiles and signatures.
8. No Offensive User Names (phonetic spellings included). Email addresses containing foul words are also not allowed.
9. No Multiple Identities. Registering multiple user names and posting under all of them as different people will not be tolerated. Anyone caught doing this will face being banned.
10. Valid Email Address Required to Post. A valid email address is required to register and it is incumbent upon all members to keep their profile current.
11. No Spreading of Copyrighted Material. Please do not upload, attach or post anything that is copyright or licensed without prior consent of the owner, unless you give proper credit.
12. No Topic Changing. Please do not derail threads because you do not agree with their content. If you do not like what you read, find or start a different thread.
13. No Plagiarism. Cite all sources fully in the post and add a link when available.
14. No Avatar Abuse. These are a luxury and abuse of them will result in your postings being removed and your account being locked or banned.
15. All posters must register with a legitimate first name, last name and valid email address. This will allow for accountability and enable posters to be contacted directly when clarifications are needed. Posts made by members who do not provide a legitimate first name, last name and valid email address may be removed at the discretion of the Administrator.
16. In instances where a forum member is identifying an item in the forum they believe to have issues, the poster should clearly state their findings in the form of an opinion and provide adequate rationale for why they believe there is an issue. When possible, we recommend that the poster questioning an item attempt to contact the seller of the item and allow at least 24 hours for the seller to reply before posting. This will prevent postings that may be generated based on misunderstandings of an item. In addition, while this forum is designed to help educate collectors, we will not allow comments that accuse entities in the hobby of participating in any form of criminal wrong-doing. Any posts suggesting criminal wrong-doing should be brought to the attention of the moderators immediately.
17. It is expected that all posts are to be created with a sincere attempt to benefit the forum. By participating in this forum, you agree to the responsibility of contributing to, and helping to maintain, a positive and constructive environment. Any posts which the Administrator deems as a personal attack or an attempt to unnecessarily discredit others will be subject to the administrative rules of the forum.
18. If you upload an image, it cannot exceed 800 pixels in width. Doing so can have your topic and/or picture removed and you will be cited a warning. After the third incident, you will be suspended depending on the situation. If a member has multiple infractions, they will be banned.

Administration:

1. Your membership on this forum is subject to the rules detailed above and the rules are subject to change without prior notice. Breaching these rules can result in post or thread deletion, and continued breaches can result in your account being temporarily locked or permanently banned.
2. The decision to warn or ban a member will depend on the infraction and is solely at the discretion of the Administrator.
3. Administrators have the final say in any rule dispute.
4. All messages and images posted on the site will belong to GSU Nation.
